WAITLIST ONLY Introduction to Robotics [Grades 3-6]
This camp will use the LEGO® SPIKE™ kits to introduce students to the engineering design process as it pertains to robotics. Campers will start each session by defining a problem and its success criteria. Then they will design and build a prototype, test it, and gather data that will allow them to improve their solution. All fostered by the spirit of cooperation and “gracious professionalism” that permeates all FIRST robotics activities. A great introduction to FIRST robotics principles for next year's Robotics Season!

Build and Program Autonomous Robots [Grades 3-6]
Beginners welcome! This camp will use the LEGO® SPIKE™ kits and the LEGO Education lesson plans to introduce students to the engineering process as it relates to competitive robotics. Campers will gradually learn the basics of building and programming robots that accomplish missions autonomously thanks to the input of sensors. Great preparation for FIRST robotics principles for next year's Robotics Season! No previous robotics experience needed.

Coding Autonomous Drones [Grades 5-12]
This summer camp offers an engaging introduction to drone technology and coding. Campers will explore applications of drone technology, understand relevant drone regulations and basic concepts of manual and coded flight. Using real world scenarios, campers will apply problem solving, teamwork, coding and drone piloting to solve their missions. Campers will pilot FPV drones using beginner-friendly block-coding software. No previous coding experience is required, making this an ideal starting point for students to explore the thrilling world of drones.

Digital Art + Drones Coding Camp [Ages 8+]
Our first full day camp offering! This camp is a cooperative camp with DigiKidz Academy. Campers will spend he first half of the day at Digikidz Academy in Chantilly learning Digital Art and then they will be transported to Nova Labs to learn to code and fly drones.

Date and Time: August 12 to August 16, 9AM-5PM
Transportation between DigiKidz and Nova Labs will be provided by DigiKidz. Parents will drop off and pick up the campers at DigiKidz.
