2024 K-3 Grade Summer Camps
Our K-3 camps introduce children to crafts, skills, and beginner STEAM concepts through engaging activities in planning, design, art, engineering, and technology. Each day includes maker experiences, reading, and math activities for a well-rounded experience.We believe in fostering critical thinking through exploration and play. Galactic Explorers & Space Pirates
Join Makerschool for an adventure as we explore the universe and sail the cosmic seas as Galactic Explorers and Space Pirates! This camp blends the wonders of space exploration with the thrilling adventures of pirate life, featuring hands-on STEAM activities for ages 6-13.
All campers will enjoy storytelling sessions that combine the mysteries of space and the thrill of pirate adventures, design space telescopes to explore the galaxy, create galaxy paintings using various art techniques, and engage in interactive pirate-themed games. Younger campers (ages 6-8) will create pirate gear, build and decorate foam boats, construct cardboard peg legs, and draw treasure maps.

Become a Lego Master Builder
This camp is all about LEGO worlds: amusement parks, space exploration, superhero cities. Your child will become a master builder and learn basic mechanics with the Lego BricQ & WeDo sets.

Alchemy for the Budding Wizard
Let’s learn how to use alchemy from potions to building your own mystical labyrinth. Create your own potions and transmutate common kitchen ingredients into magical reactions! Harness the galaxy in a jar! A magical week of crafting and storytelling, filled with fun educational activities including literacy, math, outdoor, and social activities.

Makerschool of Rock: Explore Sounds of Music
Make rhythm with your very own musical instruments! Campers will build a custom cardboard guitar and a glorious cacophony of other musical instruments. Turn the volume to 11 and welcome to the MakerSchool of Rock!

Calling all Inventors: Explore Mechanical Machines
Harness your imagination and make inventive machines from mechanical dinosaurs to wind powered cars. This week inventors will take home their inventions from simple automatons and even a custom night light. This camp will introduce simple machines, gears, and other mechanical ideas to your camper.
